So I pose the question, How many miles did your MINI come with?

Now there are 605. I have had her a week....I don't recall actually GOING anywhere....I just kinda visited everyone I knew and didn't let anyone else drive when we would go somewhere.

 

You let other people drive it before you broke it in??? You are braver than I, L.Mini

 

I picked up my MCS with 18 miles on it. I heard that the dealership test drove it before I took delivery. I now have almost 700 miles rolled up, the tires are much better with a few miles on them, and I can't get over the fact on how much I like this car!

 

My MINI had 7 miles on it when I picked it up. It was a dealer spec but they didnt allow test drives in it. Just passed 6000 trouble free miles yesterday. :smile:

 

I'll let you all know the mileage on the odometer when I get MINIclo -- hopefully before the end of the month!

5 miles

 

6 miles. I've had it since May 24th, and now have 7100. I don't commute to the office, it is in the garge (my office). The car sits outside right now, it will have its own garage in Denver.

You were supposed to break the car in? Hmm, they forgot to tell me about that one.

 

Mine had 5 miles. Now over 5 weeks later it has over 2400.

 

No Tim you misread me.....the only people that have been allowed to drive it so far was my mother (she drove home from my grandma's) and my boyfriend (because I had been drinking).

 

Mine had 9 miles, I am now up to 5600 since March 28, 2002

 

Mine had 2 miles on it at delivery. Put 500 more on in first 3 days, but now work gets in the way. I want to motor....

 

7 miles, but now I'm only about 50 away from that 1200 break in point. Yippee! :smile:

 

Mine came with 8 miles on it.. got it March 29th... it now has 5608.... :smile:

 

My S had 17 miles on it when I picked it up and a week later it only has 300 miles. Slow but sure, though I have washed it twice.

 

Took delivery on 6/17 with 5 Miles. Motored over 900 in the first week. Now over 3,300 exquisite motoring miles!

 

2 miles when I picked it up this afternoon, now almost 100-- other than having a little trouble finding a comfortable position for my back, this car is awesome. I drove to visit a chemical engineering professor, who is from Japan. After a short ride, he declared that the interior of the car was "perfect design".
Looking forward to lotsa motoring.

Granted, the Japanese always take the agreeable route when it comes to opinions, you probally can't get much better then an engineering professor (although it's the chemicial field) calling it a 'perfect design'...

and btw, I was in Japan last month, and I saw two MINI Coopers, one electric blue, and one burgandy, one was going up Mt. Fuji, and the other one was comming back down... now that's a drive I'd love to make...

Hey now...I drove it once before that...(even if it was only for 2miles...)

 

Got mine with 4.1 Miles. It now has exactly 1299.7 miles in 3 & 1/2 weeks.

 

My MINI had 5 miles on the odometer when I picked it up on July 12th. 5 weeks later it has 2600 miles on it. I seem to be neglecting my other 2 cars.

If Hubby and I ever get over to Japan, we hope to take our MINI with us. We are both Military and he grew up in Japan as a kid.

Our MINI will be delivered (hopefully) in November. My b-day is in October, but that is hoping for a bit much.

I am envious of all of you who already have your MINIs to motor about! But, I will keep reading this list and living my motoring vicariously through you all for a bit longer!!
