So I was motoring on into town (Pittsburgh) this morning to drop my mum off at work when a PS/W MC came up along side me. We exchanged pleasant beeps and I refreshed my "damn I'm driving a cool car" grin. Rode along behind him for a few minutes until he took a different exit at which point my mother squeals: "Look! Look! Another one! A third MINI!" and sure enough there was a black MC/MCS (couldn't tell, too far away) on the exit right in front of the PS/W MC. I doubt the black one saw me, but I saw all three of us and it made my morning! )

Yay for MINIs!!!

 

i saw four minis on my drive from san francisco to seattle...though i was driving my lexus :smile:

 

Are you sure that it was a PS/WHITE or maybe be a PS/PS? Maybe I've missed something but I don't think they offer the PS/W yet...3 MINIs though, that's cool!

pure silver/white? i thought that combo wasnt allowed..?

 

I see at least 20 to 30 MINIs a day here in Miami...they have become a little bit too common around here.

I had a very nice gentleman behind me in traffic the other day driving an Indi blue/white Cooper. The traffic was terrible and I was in a bad mood, but seeing him cheered me up! We honked and waved and gave thumbs up.

Actually...they have all been mine..all traded in on the next. My
wife saw one she loved(allPW) and waited a week to say'I want it.'
'It' was gone. She has since looked at a slew of different cars
(my fave was the S2000 but being 5'1" she likes the seat height
adjustment in the Mini). She goes back and forth on the Mini and
is very 'practical.' She is now saying since I have an '03 maybe
she'll wait for '05. Go figure.

 

I see several MINIs everyday here. This morning on the way to work a IB/B pulled up next to me - we exchanged waves. Later as I was exiting the highway a PS/B whizzed past me.

Last night I went to return a video and one of the best looking MCS' in town pulled in right behind me. I've seen this guy around quite bit in the last few weeks. He has a PS MCS with a checkered flag roof, black spoiler, and rally lights. We parked right next to each other, but sadly he didn't speak English! Oh well. He understood that I thought his MINI was HOT!

ahhh so you never had 3 at a time? ahh i was confused. well you traded in the MC for the MCS first right? but waht about the third one, a JCW?

Woah... In my mind, I totally gave it a white roof. Maybe it was PS/PS... Maybe it was PS/B... Maybe I didn't even see it at all


Hey, if you were on I-376 inbound this morning at around 9:30 post and tell me what the heck color your car was!

And as a little note to MINIUSA... having quite realistically visualized a PS/W MC, I feel completely qualified to tell you that it is a rather attractive combo and should be offered.

 

I saw 4 MINI's on my day off today - VR/B, BRG/W, CR/W, DS/W always good for a smile :smile:

Ok, I asked the Mum... it was PS/PS and I am certifiable. Anyway kids, the point here is that I saw 3 MINIs and it's the first time I ever saw that many on the road and it made me HAPPY!!!

 

You need to join a club! It is such a blast to take over the roads and chit chat with other MINI fiends!

I think the most I've seen in a single day has been 4. 2EB's a CR and a red classic. I still squeal when I see 'em. You should of heard me at the movie premier! 250+ Mini's!!! It was bliss!

 

This quite isn't a multiple mini sighting as it is a "mini superstition." Although, I'm not a superstitious person, this is a little weird. My MINI is being delivered this June, but during my wait I had doubts. Reading some problems other motorist have had, mainly the windscreen problem.

But every time I had a doubt about my MINI purchase, one would appear and completely change my mind. Now let it be known, there are not many Minis in my area. I’ve only seen 5 so far, and out of those five, I had a doubt and they appeared, as if something from above just said, “just do it” and the car appeared.

Even last night, although then I wasn’t having any doubts, I was at the movies, going to see the new Matrix flick, parking my girlfriend’s car and when we got out I happened to park next to a blue MINI S. It’s just too weird. Has anyone else experience this?

 

I didn't ever have any doubts...

However, once I'd made my decision and ordered my MCS I'd see another MINI very infrequently and feel somehow out of place driving my old car.

 

See you have to stand in my shoes. It's a very big investment.....excuse me, expense for me. I'm like that with everything. You should see me when I buy shoes.
