Hello, my name is charlie, and i recently picked up a 2006 MCS

here is some pics of what i was driving before the mini,

1989 BMW e30 325i

But it was having some problems and with 160,000 miles on it, i decided to garage it and hopefully rebuilt it oneday,

Now the Mini
2006 Astro black, 6speed manual, 8500 miles
preium and sport package (i think)
Alta CAI
Alta intercooler air diverter w/ spray

still learning about it,

one question whats the difference from the allweather traction control and the dynamic traction control. thanks

From your pics it looks like you have the latter. In MINI speak it's called Dynamic Stability Control. In addition to preventing wheel spin in slick conditions(as in traction control), DSC also applies the appropriate brakes to counter over or understeer.

Congrats on your new ride.

I know someone in the market for a similar vehicle. Do you mind letting me know how much you picked this up for?
You can PM me if you prefer.

Sweet looking car . . . and already a good start on the modification trail.
