Pittsburgh Mini Mechanic

Does anyone know of a reasonable mechanic in the North Pittsburgh area? I have an 08 Clubman S with an oil line leak at the turbo charger. I contacted the dealer and they quoted me $900.00 for the repair.

Hello. Did anyone ever give you any Pittsburgh area repair recommendations? My '03 MCS is stranded in Pittsburgh at the moment, and needs attention. Let me know who you used for your repairs in the Pittsburgh area, and if you'd recommend them (or not). Thanks!

I use C&G Performance for MINI maintenance on my '03 S, and they've done several other repairs for me on it and other family cars. They're located on the Red Belt near Ambridge which is about 30 minutes from town on Route 65. The prices are much better than the dealer.

Hey all, has this thread changed since it was posted a decade ago?
I'm looking for a reputable MINI service garage in the PGH area.
Thanks in advance for any recommendations!

C&G is still my go-to place, but I know of others that use Wood's Werks who is a MINI specialist on Route 8 in Glenshaw. You could Google it for some reviews.

Okay, thanks for the intel. It looks like WW isn't taking any new customers. :( I'll definitely check out C&G!

I'v been to McB once. I didn't feel very welcomed and he was complaining about working on a MIN when I was there. Lol. Old fashion way of doing business. Like you bother them when you arrive...I didn't go there with our MINI at the time. Just the irony. I didn't go back as a result...

Anyone know of a trusted place in the South Hills area?

I'm just okay with the dealership at times of critical engine work but they're just inconvenient to go to for me (time wise to drive there). They are pricey for certain items. And a bit awkward for unusual request like changing oil tranny because you know it's for life so not necessary... You know what I mean
