Thought I might rally up the area troops, both in NJ and in Pennsylvania for a small gathering at a very special place for the spring time.

Anybody who is a fan of vintage cars will certainly enjoy this event. I'm looking to have a meeting at the very Prestigious Simeone Foundation Museum, right in Philly. Dr. Simeone has amased quite a collection you may not find anywhere else in the North East. This meet will take place on the last Saturday of the month, either March or April for a special reason. Dr. Someone takes two of the museum cars and runs them behind the place oin a parking lot!!! (Weather permitting)

The museum is open Saturday between 10:00 A.M. and 4:00 P.M.
Tickets to get in cost $12.00, but is well worth what you get to see. Bring the young ones so they can learn about the cars of yesterday, so they may pave the way for the future of the automobile!!

Hey there! Love it! You might want to shoot for April, since March is our annual Member Meeting and most PhillyMINI members will be there. If I can help you promote it at all on the PM forums let me know! Or you can always post it if you'd like.

We go to The Simeone at the end of the PhillyMINI Meet each year and it's one of my favorite places. I'd love to go!

The Member Meeting is always the last weekend in March and we unveil the full schedule for the year at the event. It's going to be an awesome year, with our 10th Anniversary weekend of fun taking place on the weekend of 6/8. The PhillyMINI Meet takes place in August. :D

 

Thanks for chiming in Jen. I'd be interested to go to Simeone Museum for one of the demonstration days too. Just need to see how the Events calendar unfolds as these occur on the last Saturday of the month.

 

Sorry for the long awaited reply, I've been adjusting to my new job. April 27 will be our planned date to go, hopefully it will be warm. so mark it on your calander!

 

Sorry - I've been in a flurry of activity, too! I misstated before. The PhillyMINI Meet is our annual large gathering of MINIs in Philadelphia. It starts at Eakin's Oval and travels throughout the city. It ends at the Simeone. It takes place in early August of each year. This will be our 11th year!

The season is about to kick off and we just opened membership for 2013 and opened the RSVPs for our annual member meeting at Victory in Downingtown. Hope you can join us this year!

April 27 is the date. The Drive-N-Eat group in NJ has planned to go that day, and we also have it posted up on PhillyMINI.
