All hail "The Allen"
PDXMINI has an extraordinary member. I shall refer to him as "The Allen".
The Allen dedicates countless hours to help his fellow PDXers in the form of maintenance and modification work. Just today, The Allen spent his own time and energy to fix some boo-boos on the MINIBeel MINI. The Allen made quick work of a relatively important radiator fan issue and was very thorough in his work to boot. He also tracked down and fixed some other issues that MINIBeel hasn't nearly the gumption to fix himself.
In a world where it can be difficult to find a good mechanic-type, there is The Allen. PDXMINI is extremely lucky to have him.

I have also had the pleasure of being diagnosed by "The Allen"... The Allen told me more about my car in 20 minutes than any other mechanic has combined. Thanks to The Allen, I have a shiney new power steering fan and 2 brand new motor mounts!
