I don't see many MINIs around here and was wondering if any of you guys live in Vancouver. There seem to be alot more running around Portland.

I live in Damascus but work in Beaverton. Way more Mini's on the west side of the Metro area than the east side. Still a pretty rare sight most days.

I live in Wenatchee, WA. Was just at Rasmussen Mini in Portland last Friday for service. Have been looking for other events or gathers to hit this year.

Did you purchase your mini at Classic form Julie? So did I.

Yeah, we bought our car from Julie and it was a great experience.

After watching the forecast, this coming Saturday would be a great day for a drive. Unfortunately, I'll be going to Eurofest on Saturday. :smile:

 

Hey, I'm moving to Tacoma around the end of May. I won't get the Mini back for a while as it's being shipped from Germany though. Maybe living near early apex will allow me the opportunity to buy quality used parts at good prices!!!

Vancouver, WA is a couple hours away from Tacoma on the southern end of the state. We're right next to Portland, OR. Not sure what you mean about the used parts though...

OK, what quality used parts do you carry? Are they for MINIs? What kind of discount do you give to your fellow PDXMINI members?

I was just hoping that early_apex will have some used aftermarket items he will no longer want, and sell them to me, since I probly won't be able to afford new performance parts!!

My Mini S is US spec, I'm stationed here in Germany with the Air Force right now.
Can't wait to get back to Tacoma, I lived there 3 years ago and deifiitely ready to move back!!

I live out in Amboy, where all the roads are twisty and everyday is a good old day. It would be MINI heaven if not for the minivans (no relation), the four wheelers that I could drive under, and the occasional furry thing in the road. I can't remember ever seeing another MINI out this far.

I live in Vancouver and am on the wait list for a an 05 Cooper S at Rasmussen in Portland (#121) and Mini of Murray in Utah (#30) at last check. I see a couple of Minis around town from time to time, usually a black and white Cooper and a dark blue Cooper S. Until about a year ago my daily driver was a 1974 Mini (RHD), red and white with a Union Jack on the roof. Do any of you belong to PDX Minis? I should think Yacolt and Amboy would be Mini Cooper S heaven!
