speakers and give this a listen:

Being the old hotrodder that I am, I loved it.
Doesn't sound a lot like my MINI though.

Oh yeah, Open headers on a big block V8. Makes the ground shake. Sounded just like they used to on Saturday nights at the drag strip years ago.
Now try driving that down a residential street these days and see how fast you get a "fixit" ticket
after all the neighbors wake up.

You know, there aren't many days when I regret selling my small block '69 Camaro, to buy my Mini. But some days, like today and in hearing that, I sure do miss it. Wouldn't give up the Mini for it -- I guess I just need another car.
Ain't it wonderful to be able to count the cylinders as they fire vs listening to mad bumble bees in a tin can!

I love my MINI, but the sound of that thing brings back great memories.
With good sounding speakers, or maybe a subwoofer on your computer, you can feel the power pulses sort of penetrating your body........
Reminds me of why I still go to the drag races occasionally.
Also, I like the hotrod, which is a useable one, rather than a "look but don't touch" trailer queen.
Yes, driving around in it all the time would drive me nuts, but driving it sometimes would help keep me from going nuts.

Oh man, that thing sounds fantastic. That could be a fun weekend car, the kind you take to get ice cream and scare all the nearby kids.
It's not often I get to hear a real healthy V8. I'll even roll down the window when I pull up near a muscle car/hot rod, hoping to hear some good noise but 90% of the time I'm disappointed, they just don't come close to the sound of my old 396 el camino.
