My wife got a new toy this week and I'm jealous

Well my wife has strange taste in vehicles as I do, and this was at the top of her list. I wouldn't have guessed that I would like it so much, but its pretty snazzy looking on the outside, all leather and woodgrain inside, and the ride is reminiscent of the Cadillac in which I learned to drive. Of course its no MINI, but I'm still a wee bit jealous of the cargo room, comfort, and new car smell. Here it is stock and debadged, soon I will add a billet grill and a sub.

Hey dude ... I like that cattle head on top of the garage ... very cool.

OK now I thought MINI owners hated SUVs and that sure looks like a SUV to me

I think the SUV looks great! In fact, its ALWAYS been my contention that a nice sporty car and a SUV is the perfect combination for a household. Both serve different purposes but a lot of people dont want to hear that

Suzukis are the best kept secret in the auto biz. For the price they have great quality and they just run and run. We've had a series of them in our family and each one has been great. Sadly, the word is getting out and they are well on their way to selling the magic 100,000 units in the US (per year). A nice buy and good for you! Enjoy it!

The Samurai that I owned for a couple years is what keeps me away from Suzuki today.......not fair to Suzuki, just the way it is.

I like those a lot. To my mind it's the perfect size for an SUV. Not some gargantuan monster truck. Man the previous owner really took a hit on depreciation. Nice car, great deal.

good choice, i really like the new GV and think suzuki did such a great job on it. i also love how its a tried and true offroader, though i guess since your planning on ******* it (no?) that may not be your highest priority.

still its a very classy looking reliable SUV that can be had for years without major costs incurred and should not look dated

We'll eventually put some rims on it when money allows, but probably not for a while until we need new tires and/or win the lotto. I actually don't mind the stock rims though, they aren't too bad - not too horribly stock looking. Its probably because they match the body color. If we would have bought the black or white one the rims would probably bug me but I like matching rim color.

For now we are planning on a billet grill, sub, and darker tint.

The black flares are actually a factory accessory that come off to reveal the standard body color arches. I thought that I would like the body color way better, but I took them off the other day and I didn't like it because the flares actually add noticeable width and give it a little more agression. So we decided to leave them on for now, maybe we'll paint them later.

Umm...anyone here know what D's are? If I throw some of these D's on this beaotch as suggested, wont it scratch the paint? I don't want to throw my arm out throwing D's either. What if one of the D's bounces right off and hits me, or worse yet, my wife. She'd be real mad.

You'll have to excuse SKIDMRK, he drives an Audi.
