335 Convertible on Ebay

Check this out a "dealer" has listed an auction on ebay for the amount you are willing to pay over MSRP on a 335 Convertible.

Then in another auction for the Alpina B7 in which they state in the description "... We do not encourage selling at over sticker price."

Talk about lame......

Why is that lame? Its American marketing at its best. Get the top dollar. Looks like a great gimmick and no different than MINI dealers selling for more than MSRP

After all MSRP means "suggested". There is NO law saying you MUST sell at that price.

I found it to be an interesting angle to get sign people up on the allocation myself. Almost like putting your deposit down on your MINI, then building it, making adjustments to your order before production then waiting for it to come in. Wonder if there are any other dealers out there that will catch on. This dealer obviously sells on Ebay regularly so why not give this angle a shot as well! Just my 2 cents worth.

I find it lame because they are asking over MSRP on their 335 auction and then state in the B7 auction "We do not encourage selling at over sticker price" Obviously they encourage it........
