If you read the article the chicken was doing over 155 mph when it hit the car ... um, may have mis-interpreted.

I have no idea about the circumstances, it was just so odd I thought I'd post it for the heck of it. It's actually amazing that they didn't crash and the car is pristine otherwise - guess they had DSC on

:D

Speaking of Boxsters I keep reconsidering them, the looks don't do anything for me but the test drive was so nice. I miss the M Coupe, guess I'm jonesing for the feel a proper claustrophobic little two seater again.

Yes the MINI really should be snaller

Just as I was wodnering today after a few near misses about ice falling off a tuck going the other direction, firuge 5lbs of ice hitting the windshield at a combined speed of 80 MPH, just how bad would it hurt.

Now I know, esp. since the train testing of windscreens they were told "gentleman thaw your chickens"

That's enough Phil............you're a Moderator for the love of Pete.

BTW:

I was hit by a turkey back in October - I kept the head in case the insurance company doubted me.......

Am I not allowed to have some fun around here?

Or is it just that I have to remain 'technical'?

In the latter case, let's discuss the Boxter's wishbone suspension...
