I haven't read all the posts on this thread, but today I got an e-mail that called for the no buying of gas from Mobile/Exxon.

The idea is that this is the largest oil company here in the USA and if everyone would stop buying their gas, a so called gas war might result.

Yep I'm sure old enough to remember the good ole days of gas wars. Yes sir, back in the day when V-8s ruled and gas was cheap

 

I hit a personal high this week: $42 to fill up the Cooper!

I can't imagine how folks with large cars and trucks are dealing. Two or three times a month and you not only plow through the walkin' around and fancy coffee money, you start in on the grocery budget.

Combine that with heating costs that are due to skyrocket and that's a unhappy consumer place for sure.

 

Down to 2.50 in richmond for regular (camp on 20 cents more for premium)

about 2.60 in Beaverdam/Bumpass for regular. (again, about 20 cents more for premium)

 

Almost the same in here. Regular is 2.59, and I can get the premium for 2.71 yesterday.. Need to filled it up for the local club's fall drive on this weekend.. Hope there isn't another hike on the Wilma

 

BTW, I paid $31 to filled up my MCS yesterday.:smile:

 

I passed a 7-11 store here in Okla City and the guy was out posting the new prices. Regular was posted a $ 2.11 I didn't see what the other grades were.

 

$2.79 for premium now

 

the best ive spotted in this area is 2.84

 

$2.25 for premium in OKC

 

$2.63 for premium today

 

last night $2.85 premium(91)

got to fill up for less than $40 yeah

 

$2.03 for regular in OKC, just seen it as I went by. The MINI was full so didn't check the cost of premium.

 

$2.47 for 93 Octane Super this afternoon. No, I'm not celebrating, but after what we saw these last two months, at least this prices are going in the right direction.

 

Regular at $1.98 in Okla City Premium at $2.14

 

Just filled up today for $2.55/gal. This is the cheapest I found these days.

 

i have never seen gas at 2.15 since i got my car in april of 04. cheapest ive seen recently is 2.76 in the suburbs.

btw, premium here is now drop to $2.33 (this is the lowest I can found)

I paid $2.299 in the NW burbs of Chicago yesterday for regular. :smile:

 

San Luis Obispo 76 Premium -> $2.89 :impatient
Maui 76, by safeway -> $3.43

 

You should drive up to WI for gas. :smile: .. we are paying $ 2.19 here in Madison.
