Well that sure beats my IB/W with stripes all to hell.

Still I've heard that anything larger than a kleenex won't fit in the boot.

Actually its just the Ford GT , Ford was unwilling to pay a private owner for the rights to the GT40 name.

Sweet ride though...and it'll kick the pants off a Ferrari 360 Modena

I think I remember reading about that, good catch. Just because Ford can't call it what it is doesn't mean we can't:smile:

Technically it should be the GT-44. The "40" in the GT-40 was the height of the car, and the new one is taller. Little Ford trivia for ya.

Yeah, we all knew what you mean . Although SumWom's got it right...should bt the GT44 . The GT40 go the 40 because it's 40-inches tall...the GT is just about 44-inches tall. Somehow I think GT just sounds better.

Although, the Ford GT is still an oxymoron when it comes to the naming/layout of the car. A GT car (Grand Touring) is technically a front-engined, rear-wheel drive car. The Ford GT is a mid-engined, rear-wheel drive car...not a true GT car.

Okay, just my little rant...carry on...

And it still has one of those emergency inside releases in case someone gets locked in!
