Horrible

That is in horrible condition for the low miles. What upgrades? The wheels?

That's what I thought. They could have at least run it through a wash or something, dang.

With a back seat I would consider bidding. I can't believe how trashed it looks right now.

The item description also says it does NOT have a current warranty. Is it possible the warranty was revoked for some reason or another?

The auction mentions a sunroof in the desc, but Goodwood didn't come with a sunroof. Feel free to correct me. I can't tell from the pictures if it actually has one.

Finally (and I'll shut up now) the forward right hand light washer is broken/missing. Missing mat, missing seat, crappy looking aftermarket wheels, trashed looking exterior. Man, I'd love to find out WTF happened here.

Also noteworthy is that it's blue, and a stick shift - not many of the US Goodwoods were sticks. That looks like a rear seat delete kit too. There must be a story here . . .

Either they didn't shut the bonnet all the way, or the fit is horrible between the bonnet and the bumper and fenders.

Besides the look of the car, something else is fishy here. Why would you drop that kind of money on a Goodwood, put supposedly another 10k into upgrades, drive it less than 8,000 miles and then donate it to NPR? Economically, it just doesn't add up. If somebody loves Public Radio this much, why not just donate the money? There's something seriously wrong with this car, like maybe it got caught in Hurricane Sandy and was donated to avoid an insurance claim.

Wish I had the $$$ to buy it and let everybody know what the story really is.

flooded?

This actually looks like a flooded vehicle come to think about it. No way someone spent 50K and did this in 8K miles. Unless it was a complete junk car. So flooded is my guess!

Trouble is, it looks pretty clean from the underside in the shots of the exhaust, although there is rust in the center cap of one of the front wheels. Seems a little early for that to happen.

I put the VIN into google and got back many results for various places this thing is being offered. There are also 5 records according to AutoCheck but their site tells me cookies must be enabled, and they are on my browser.

Very curious.

Also- one bid so far.

The wheels look like MB Wheels, "a Discount Tire exclusive product line, brings the latest in style to the competitive value-priced category"

That is a sad end to a very rare car. There were not many Reef Blue cars and only a hand full of manuals were made.

Surprised the most obvious has escaped you....

Some Photos show an S model....then a shot from front shows a JAC Bonnet.

I suspect this is not a GW.

The Type Font on the instruments is the same as a Goodwood. But the 1 of 1000 plaque is missing from the console. This may be one of the pre-production show cars they did. I can't see if the dash has Burr Walnut panels. How ever many of the interior bits are Goodwood.

It's in horrible shape all around. DOesn't look like a walnut dash. It just looks like Piano Black. Missing the shift ****, and I also noticed that it has black grab handles. As I recall, the ones that I saw in real life had cream colored grab handles to blend with the cornsilk headlining. Those are mighty cheesy wheels too, considering it's a $52,000 car (if it's real). I'm calling BS on this GW!
