I just paid $2.219 at costco last night --it went down from a week or two ago

Cheapest gas I know in southern Ca is about 50 miles west of Barsto on the way to Vegas. OUT in the middle of NOWHERE!! then they tell us in San Diego, "It has to be be brought in from the refriney"

Paid $2.02 for 93 octane at Exxon/Mobil last night. I need to get to COSTCO where I'll save about .20/gallon

Amen to that...

$1.83 at Kroger (grocery store) in Atlanta last night... not terrible considering it's almost a full $0.10 cheaper than anywhere else.

EDIT: That was for 93 Octane premium.

WOW

Gas prices went DOWN this weekend...

Thanks Georgie!

Seriously, though, you have to question how we're going to get our foreign policy back on track. Our reputation precedes us!

You can't tell me that politics have nothing to do with our gas prices. I wasn't born yesterday, and I don't expect a free ride. I just don't have gray hair yet.

For someone who wants to keep the politics out of it you sure had a lot of nonsensicle ranting to do. Bye Bye Bush!!! It's inevitable. He's an awful president. He proves it everyday. BTW, I don't hate Bush, I hate the crappy job he's done period. Americans will voice their disapproval at the poles this fall. I can't wait.

>>I hate it when these kind of post turn into political arguments.
>>One moment Bush has attacked Iraq for oil, the next moment he's gonna be defeated because of high gas prices. Tax cuts for he rich, even though everyone who pays federal taxes got a tax cut, I guess the objection is that those who pay more got a bigger cut....yeah, that can't be right, everyone knows the biggest tax cuts should go to those who pay little or no taxes. There's a Halliburton plot to suck oil out of the moon and Cheney used to be a part of Halliburton so it's just gotta big a bad, bad thing. Gore really won the election and don't dare try to cloud the issue with facts like EVERY vote count, (hanging chads, dangling chads, swinging door chads, etc.), showed Bush still winning.
>>
>>About those jobs, who would of thought we would have lost jobs on Bush's watch? What possible difference could the bursting of the stock market bubble, 911, corporate scandals and a war against terror have had on the economy? What?... jobs are being created?....well, not fast enought and they are the wrong jobs and Kerry promised ten million jobs and we need someone who can relate to all the people not a millionaire like Bush and bla, bla, bla..........huh? Kerry owns how many homes?...... and a few islands off the east coast?...... and his wife who ocassionally uses his last name has about 600 million bucks? That's OK, he's a Democrat, he feels your pain.
>>
>>A campaign based on nothing but hatred for Bush ain't gonna work.
>>
>>If you agree with me or don't agree with me that's fine. I hope, (and I'm sure you do too), that this is my only political post on this website.
>>
>>I really want to be able to come here and get away from the never ending politics which have started sooner and are more hate filled than any I remember in my 60 years.
>>
>>I'll shut up now and I hope everyone else will also keep their politics to themselves unless they are on a political website.

Hey Squigi,

The stuff I wrote was to make the point that politics has no place on this board. If you looked at the other post on this subject you'll notice mine wasn't the first political post. As far as what I wrote, you can't even spell "nonsensical", let alone recognize it.

Regular is $1.63 here in Arkansas. Also, my Shell Visa card provides a 5% discount at several local stations. I'd like to see it cheaper.....but this really isn't bad especially since it's almost $3.00 a gallon in some areas.

Paid $2.35 on monday, and $2.65 today in Bishop Ca. Not quite peak season yet, so it should still go up some.
