Kia K5 (Optima) with HRE's on it. Prob the most bad a** Kia I have seen. 2.0 turbo anyone? These are all over South Korea. So awesome. The K7 (cadenza) is its older brother and looks just as sexy. 30k loaded for the optima with 100k warranty..tempting. The guy told me he did some work to the intake, fuel delivery aka bored injectors Im assuming..and a new downpipe all tuned to make a whopping 325whp..pretty impressive. Awesome machine.

I was gonna say the same thing
However, I'm not impressed with the looks of the Kia. I know nothing about its performance, and that may be a different story. Someone where I intern a few days a week got a brand new one when they first came out. At first, when I saw commercials for it, I didn't think it looked all that bad, actually pretty nice. But when I saw one up close, I was less impressed. The interior isn't all that impressive IMO either. BUT I will hand it to Kia for turning their lineup around, I am very impressed with the new Sportage and the Soul.

 

Besides my R53 I have a KIA as a work/run errands car. It's a 2008 with 68k

and has given me zero problems, not even a rattle. If you are in the market

for a go to work kind of car check it out, it's cheap and good.

 

It looks cool. Sounds like a good deal. I don't know what it is; maybe just the Euro arrogance in me, but you won't catch me dead in a Kia.

Just like how the Hyundai Genesis Coupe is a fast car for the money and how the design looks cool. Both of these cars scream boy racing to me. They are good cars, don't get me wrong; just not my cup of tea.

 

I don't think I'd buy a KIA myself, but I saw a pretty mean looking Forte Coupe (Koup?) on the road the other day that really caught my eye. Personally I'd just be wary about reliability, but I guess the same can be said for MINI.
