I'm not sure if it's out either and I don't really cate 'cus I hate Fords!!!!
Plus I'm kind of tired of these other little cars coming out. Notice how "they" all look the same and MINI is still original. In fact, there was an add in the new Motor Trend for the Mazda 2. They say how it has more room than a 5 door Toyota Yaris, yet the 2 looks exactly like...........a Yaris. Well, of anybody tests out a Fiesta, let us know how it is.

I haven't seen one yet, but plan to do a bit of tire kicking when they do arrive. I won't buy one, but I'm glad there are more small cars coming over. As all us MINI owners know a small car can get the job done nicely.

I looked at the one in Fontana during MOTD 2009. The guys that were driving it seemed to enjoy it...felt it was spirited and handled the dragon well. Eurpoeans have loved it for years and I'm glad Ford is bringing it over. I wish them continued success and improvement. FMC raked in the JD Power initial quality awards this year.

Lame. Test drove one at the Orlando International Car show back in November. It had the spunk of a Cooper which was cool but the guy that was their with Ford said it was suppose to come in some very fast trims and guess what it didn't. Bad Ford....Bad go to your house.....gooo...!!!!

I hope it's a success so they bring the RS and Focus RS over.

I drove one and it was a slug. Not saying that because I'm on my third MINI and happen to work for MINI but it really did feel slow. It handles ok for a car that isn't directly aimed at the performance bunch here in the US. There is a lot of potential in the Fiesta chasis. I really like the Fiesta idea but they need to bring in some hotter versions like the RS or ST that Europe has. I have always liked Ford and I hope they can finally give me some competition haha.

I think it boils down to the Fiesta being an inexpensive transport pod aimed at the non-car guy American market vs the MINI being a premium car aimed at a more sports car oriented buyer. That being said even BMW/MINI has toned down their cars to meet the wants & needs of a larger non-enthusiast market.

I am happy the Fiesta is here. Nice to see some more sensible choices available in the market.
