Your thoughts on the TT-S
so how come the EDM get 6MT?
was checking youtube for any vids of the tt-s and some
crazy woman started talking in another language. then
some guy came out said something in another language...
all i caught was 'tey tey es' . i think he meant tee tee-s
but oh well. he was saying something about oversteer
and understeer or something too.

I'll tell ya, if I was in the market for a sporty 2 seater I'd put the new 370Z in the running; 300 and something hp and insofar very good word of mouth on the handling, steering feel and such from the first drive reviews I've seen. And you can get a 6spd manual. Not that I am Nissan biased or anything
, but really it sounds like it might be a winner and reasonably priced considering (depending on options of course).
I did like the A3 we had and Audi does make some nice cars though, so I understand the attraction, I'm sure the iterations of the TT are fun and well appointed.

yep, actually im pretty sold on the 370Z at the moment. it has
pretty much everything that i want. 2 seater, 6MT, nice VQ engine,
etc. but i can really do without those darn gauges. the steering wheel
and the cluster looks too boomboxy, if that's a word.
the TT-S has a nice interior and ive never owned an Audi so i thought
that might be a good(?) experience to try. but that DSG is killing it. im
not a fan of 2 pedal especially when im motoring flat/straight IL.

Of course for a stick TT you can always just wait for the TT-RS
These companies keep coming out with these great automatics...but guess what i want a manual transmission i dont care if my 0-60 is .1 better, .1 isnt going to make up for the fun of a manual. I also think the 370z is a great car, but i cant stand the rear of the car. What do you guys think? I think the 370z nismo version looks better though...
you know wat, when i first saw the 370z in mag's i though it looked
like crap. but after seeing some vids over at edmunds, i think it has
quite a bit of potential as far as styling goes. you can also get this
car with the 19" rays wheels with 275/35/19's now which is nice.
if i get one, it would be with the 19's. would lower it with coilovers
and add 15mm wheels spacers. done.
and yes, a fun car has to be MT.
i too dont care if the
electronic clutches can shift faster or not. it's the experience
getting there... hey, sounds like some miata thread.

I was just reading about the Nismo yesterday, in my opinion the body kit is kind of cheap and aftermarket looking, look at the lower rocker panels for instance. But yeah, a bigger set of wheels and lowering it would help a lot.
