need electronic guru advice - non MINI

I wish I knew any of the correct terminology to describe what I am looking for, but I don't. What I need is a relay type thing that converts a momentary push button (a circuit closing button like a horn button) to act like a "first push on, second push off button" that turn signals use. Anyone know where to get something like that, or even what it is called?

Its for a new turn signal switch for my bike like this:

Without this needed device I would have to hold down the button to make the signals flash.

(If you are wondering why I am asking this on a MINI forum its because I know alot of you out there are smart and have other hobbies.)

they're all pushbutton switches but the one you're talking about is
a push on push off switch.

push on push off - so thats the official terminology I was looking for. So what do I need to make a pushbutton switch act as a push on push off? Would that be a relay or something else?

The circuit you're looking for is called a "latching relay". The first time you apply a momentary voltage to the trigger line, it latches the relay "on". The next time you apply a voltage to the same trigger wire, it turns the relay back off.
