I see that there are several caravans being organized for the migration to Lost Wages (AMVIV4). Looks like there will be a bunch from REME, NorCal, MidCal, MINI Mavericks, and others. Looks like people will be departing at different times and on different dates. It's always more fun and safer to travel in a group.

Perhaps it would be wise to establish a "central" thread on NAM and list the days of the week, and who from northern California is leaving. This would give everyone a chance to find a group to join up with.

Tuesday: Citrus Heights to Las Vegas vis 99,58,15
Leaving Citrus Heights at 0500 hrs. Stopping for gas/lunch in Bakersfield. Planned arrival at Super 8 Motel in LV at 1600-1700 hrs. and then meet up with the REME crew

Wednesday: Tour of the Liberace Museum and an afternoon at the "Star Trek Experience".

Janet and I are leaving Tuesday morning very early from Healdsburg. There isn't a pretty or even fun way to get to Vegas from here without adding a day of driving, so it will be straight down I-5. We expect to check into the Palace Station by 4-5pm Tuesday evening.

 

I'd sign up, but no one wants to drive as fast as I do. Guess I'll just have to go it alone. I'll wave if I catch up to a caravan.

Not wanting to get up and drive at 4 AM is different than not wanting to drive as fast as you.

 

I'd like to get there without stopping 10 times for gas. So I don't care how fast we drive, just as long as we all have full tanks when we leave from NorCal. That way we can all stop at the same time to fill up. That's the way I wanna roll.

I'm leaving Modesto early wednseday morning going down 99. I'm waiting to see what Jim's doing or maybe hook up with the MidCal people if thier going around the same time.

 

We are leaving Fresno at 9:30am on Thursday.

 

I will be departing the Roseville area around 0800 on Thursday down 99 to58 to15 to arrive about 6pm.Q
