Calling all Minis!

This time every year there is parade in the small, beautiful town of Boulder Creek in the Santa Cruz mountains.

All of the residents of the town and the surrounding community come out and sit on the curb and watch the local fire department, boy scouts, the classic cars, and other groups pass by. Candy is thrown to all of the kids.

So.... last year there was a group of 27 PT Cruzers that showed up in the parae and this year some of us proud Mini owners are getting together to show off our cute cars.

So... if you are near Boulder Creek this Saturday at 9am, drive to the south side of town and join us for this memorable, all American, down home, super feel good moment!

Lidia, that's the lamest excuse I've ever heard! How dare you deprive the crowd of the sight of your beautiful Mini!!!

Parade starts at 9:30 with the fire trucks, the Minis should be rolling down the street around 10am after the Boy Scouts and the yoga group (hey, did I mention that this is a small town parade?)

CALLING ALL MINIS.... I think I need a Bat Signal with the Mini logo...

 

That sounds cool. Not sure if I can make it though.

Tell you what, If you guys are still around by noon, I'll zip up on my lunch hour to check things out. But you know small towns, everything is over in a few minutes
Everybody will probably be gone when I get there!

 

Brian - I'd love to be in a parade ... but, I'll be attending my niece's graduation from St. Mary's in Moraga.
When growing up I spent every summer in Boulder Creek. It was/is a great town.

 

I'll do my best to add an IB/W to the mix...

The rumor is that we will be Calling All Minis for the Boulder Creek July 4th of July parade. Maybe with a little bit more advaced notice, more people can make it to this event. I think I have time to build that bat signal...

 

The parade was a big success and the Mini community was well represented with 6 Minis! Sorry we missed you Eric!!!
