I just moved up here from LA back in March and I've seen a ton of Mini's all over the place. What's not to love about In-N-Out and Mini's???

I realize there's another meet on the 5th (posted by m3dragon), but hopefully you all can come out and just have a nice night out meeting fellow members of the NAM community and just mingling with fellow enthusiasts.

Yea, it's worth a shot to see who comes out. I'd like to see a community come together. whether your stock, have a Mini ordered, or you just wanna look at a few Mini's, I'm all up for it. I just hope others want to participate.

I ordered some matte black vinyl. Hopefully it'll be here before Friday. I can give you some and you can DIY matte black vinyl your mirror caps!

I've been trying very hard to keep the Mini clean so come on out and check out the rides! Hope to see more than 4 people there....lol. But that's okay too!

 

Yeah, what's up with that. There's so many MINIs around here.

 

Not so sure. NAM doesn't seem like any other forum. I know, at least on E90Post, members are really involved and it doesn't require you to have to pay a fee to partake in events. Most meets are started like how I created this thread: find a place, meet new people, and repeat.

Mini's seem more into the clubs and you only find out about things by subscribing to membership listings and club fees. I'm not like that and would rather be involved with members in a global level, if you know what I mean.

Either way, with the few that come out, we'll make the most of it. I hear it'll rain on Thursday, so I'll be sure to wipe her down after Thurs night so when it clears on Friday it won't be so dirty....

Of the 2 years I've had my Mini, I never went to a SoCal Mini meet. Where the hell are those? I tried SCMM, but didn't really seem very involving. I end up hitting up my friends at their BMW meets instead.

 

Want to confrim if we are on for tonight? How may we at now? The more the merrier!

I'm not sure about anyone else. From who've posted, it only seems like 4 altogether. If not a lot of people show up that's fine I suppose. It would be nice if more came though. Maybe there are more lurkers that'll show up but don't post. Hope that's the case.

It was a nice little meet. It's unfortunate that the scene wasn't bigger, but it was cool. Nice to have met you all and hope to see more next time!
