spoon - not from Sacramento but I did buy my MCS at Niello, in fact I'll be up there on Saturday morning for it's first service. I also knew what Niello was asking before I bought my car but I couldn't deal with the other bay area dealers. All in all it was a plesant experience.

I also bought my MINI from Niello. I am very happy, and I've never felt any regrets for doing that. I got my MINI since April 5. I've done 6,700 miles pf pure joy!
The experience was very pleasant, people at Niello trated me with respect and I feel very good about my decision. Besides, if you subtract to the mark-up the cost of the original MINI floor mat set ($110.00), wheel locks ($25.00), and paint & interior protection package ($300.00); all we ended up paying as a mark up was about $400.00. Not bad at after all! Beats waiting all this time... and no traveling expenses!

i'd be up for an informal, quick meet in old sacramento or something. i'm usually not available for the treks to the bay area

 

Let me know if you ever plan a drive up through Grass Valley / Nevada City, and perhaps up hwy 49 to Downeyville or Sierra City (nice drive), I can arrange to open our shop for a stop and have staff available for a technical question & answer session!

I'm also interested in participating in any Sac Valley / Foothill drives!

Are you coming to the May 17th MINI run to Napa?
There are several people from the Bay Area and at least a couple of MINIs from Sacramento who will be joining this MINI run.
There are plans for a BBQ and driving through the beautiful Wine Country!

Hi. I'm new to MCO, and I live in Sacramento. I don't have my own MCS yet - still saving up for that - but I'd like to learn more about how to care for the MINI, and all of the fun rallys/meets I can get involved in someday (sigh).

 

Born and raised in Sacramento, but currently live in Yuba City. I commute to Sacramento every day for work (lowly State employee). I have seen approx 4 Mini's in Yuba City. Ours will be the 5th when it arrives in California, November 4th (currently on the Otello in the Atlantic Ocean). We also bought from Niello. Our experience with Niello has been pleasant so far.

I'd suggest Old Sacramento, it's a unique setting and just off I-5 for people not downtown.

I'm a Sacramento Mini owner too! In the last month, I 've seen more and more MiNIs on Capitol freeway through town...

Coffee or a drink? Old Sac sound good in the afternoon, or Java City in the galleria on a Saturday or Sunday morning?

I work at UCD Med Center and 2months ago I parked in a small administrative builidng lot with 2 other minis there! I've seen at least 5 or 6 among UCDMC'rs...
there's a gorgeous seagreen in my parking lot, haven't spotted an owner yet...

I'm thinking about going down to SF for the open house, since I really want to hear people's exhausts, see how their mods work (springs, etc) is anybody else local going?
Looking forward to seeing a whole mess of sacatomata minis!
