Hi Larry,
Just found out that MINI SF made a mistake on their dates. Run is going to be on Aug. 6, 2006 Sunday. Please update the NORCALMINIS site. Thanks.

Was a consensus reached on where and when for the Saturday Morning CoCo Meetups?

I don't think so. I don't know the area that well so I'm waiting on firm ideas. Anyone?

I think it was between Copper Skillet in Dublin or Katy's Korner in San Ramon. I remember Katy's being a little more parking challenged. I believe Copper Skillet is a little more open in the parking arena.

Hey.. we could call it the Cooper Skillet.. brought to my attention by a typo I made while typing above..

....a deciding factor may be the proximity of a coffee house nearby.. If that's the case, then there's a Starby's right across the street from CS and a Peet's a half a block down. I think there's a Starby's in the Safeway across from Katy's... but not sure where a competing Peet's is..

Don't really care where - just need to know time and place. An egg is an egg, however, coffee is tantamount to a religious experience before 10 am.

There is a Mikas coffee drive through a block away from Copper Skillet in Dublin and a Starbucks across the street. I think someone just needs to step up and suggest a date and place. Tomorrow is good for me or August 13th, unless we choose a Saturday then a few more dates work.

Pittsburg chiming in. It's so lonely over here. I've only seen one LY MC a couple months after I got mine. Is anyone else out here?

Why don' t we go for next Saturday July 29th for a combined Contra Costa and Alameda Counties meet. How about Copper Skillet in Dublin at 9am?

weekend meetups

I've started another thread just for meetups. That way I can keep track of them for the event listings.

Thanks for getting it organized Larry. I just wanted to jump start the events by suggesting a date as there seems to be a lot of interest and possible places to meet. I think the idea of trying different places sounds good.

Thread for this Saturday's meet is here:

This sounds great to me, big props to Larry for keeping the fire lit under this one. As for hitting a different spot to meet, that sounds cool if we can keep people interested. If it helps we could call ourselves "The Out To Brunch Bunch" :impatient What say you?

Hi, the windows are not tinted. We have a few 'turtle' decals on the rear window, but nothing on the boot. I tried to post a pic of it here, but alas.. couldn't remember how to do it. Do you have access to the owners forum at miniusa.com? If so, look up Leilani
