I am fine for meeting earlier for food. I think I might be there earlier with my gal anyways (shopping . I will have my Two-Way with me at the mall. Channel 7 right? If we don't meet for food, then in fron of Filene's for sure around 7. The whole run should take us somewhere around 3-4hours I would think. We can always grab a bite to eat after that.

Maybe I can do the second half right now...

Looks like I might have to stick close to home this evening. A family member needs to visit the doctors office. If I can finish up in time I will be in the parking lot of FIlenes by 7pm. If I can't make it, I will spend the evening thinking about you guys...............Driving around Fairfield CT that is!

Just got back from the dry run (actually it rained, so it was wet). I think GMINIO and Antsmini liked the first half of the route. We are going to do the second half some other date. Sad to say that some poor rabbit lost it's life under my wheel. Other than a few wrong turn, the run went pretty smoothly.

Smoothly???!!!!!

You killed a BUNNY RABBIT!!!!!!! And it went SMOOTHLY????!!!! Did I not hear this when you announced it on the radio? You butcher!!! You were going way too fast for that poor animal!!!

Actually - understatement of the year: " I think GMINIO and Antsmini liked the first half of the route."

It's a hell of a start - one hell of a driver's course. Thanks and keep on!

So where'd ya go? Gimme the route! I bet it was more fun than helping my friend move her crap out of her apartment in exchange for a free couch.

The list of roads is too long. We went through Litchfield, Bethlehem, Washington...all over. There are TONS of twisties and hills. Too bad for the rain though. Some of the roads are down right dangerous, as stated on the signs, and by the small furry animals that lie dead in our wake...

Hopefully the second half of the course will be just as fun. I will test it out soon!

Did you guys get home ok?

Sounds like the first course is shaping up to be pretty good, can't wait to check it out. CooperSpeed, keep posting info when you will be running the second half dry run, I might try to head up and meet you guys to check it out. Kind of a haul for me, but what the hell, used to make the drive half in the bag (not that I condone that, but college kids aren't the brightest type).

Sure CooperSpeed. I got home just fine. I think Ants was zonked from all the exercise. His little cooper really cranks it out while keeping up with Ss. On the way down 202 he went to jump left onto some nowhere road and blamed it on the GPS. A little punchy . Left him at Route 7 and all seemed go. HE's checked in as zonked, that's all i know.

HAHA! If I recall my Cooper (which wasnt even MY cooper) passed your "S"s on a few occasions. And yes the GPS does take me on some whacky roads. The drive home was fine except for getting stuck behind a 18 wheeler for 8 miles on Rt. 7!!!!!!

Lucky I consider it a sin for two dark silvers to travel consequetively. Besides a shiny red really stands out when framed by two dreary grays .

LOL!!!

I think I am going to do the second half tonight with one of my friends. I have never been on most of the roads back there, so I will let you know how it goes.

Did you get your car back yet Ants???

Gee. I'm free Sunday....

Count me there. Where to meet???

I suggest New Milford so I don't have to back track and we can have a crazy fun ride to the starting point.

Sunday can be a female dog on Rte 7 from Danbury to New Milford at the Flea Market. I hope ants has a map from the meet - cuz it details the most excellent way around all that.
