Turn SLIGHT LEFT onto US-44 / PUTNAM PIKE.
Dunkin Donuts will be on your RIGHT.

What is it?
Again we are staying tight lipped about many of the details. What I can tell you is that you and your MINI will follow us into the lesser driven areas of RI where many things go bump in the night. We will travel dark, desolate, dirt roads in search of legendary ghosts. This year we will be guided by an expert who knows these spots very well. Although I can't tell you where we are going, I promise you a great time. And for all of you from last year, You will enjoy some of the changes we have made.

Some things to NOTE:
We will be leaving the stagecoach at 6:30. So please be on time for registration.
We will be starting the event at Dunkin Donuts. The ending location is Chester's Restaurant. When we get back they are going to put a spread out for us of good night time eats.

A lot of the roads are narrow so please be aware of oncoming traffic, not that we expect much. Parking is tight so we ask that multi MINI families please come in one car. As of right now there are no bathroom breaks, except for nature. I apologize and no one is more concerned about this than me. We are not providing flashlights so please bring your own. Also Tom (our guide)suggests we bring along some thermal imagers and electro magnetic readers. They are available at Radio Shack. All of these stops have been documented by professionals as being haunted so we should get something this year.

Registration will take place through the mail this year. NO registration forms or money will be collected on the day.

Of course, costumes for you and your MINI are strongly encouraged!!!

Any questions, please PM me.

This was a great event last year, and it sounds like it will be even better this year!

Can't wait. We will be making the trip from south-western CT for this one once again!

OmToast - We made the 2 hour drive from south-western CT for last years rally, and we had a great time. Met some cool people, got to see a whole bunch of MINIs that were dressed up in costume, and had a blast driving around to spooky places all night. We were made to feel welcome even though we hadn't met anyone there before, and we are definitely going again this year. A very nice event put on by nice people! Rich and the gang at Ocean State MINI Club did a great job, and I am sure this years event will be just as much fun. Hope to see you there!

This year's event should be great. We have a guide from Rhode Island Paranormal and the stories are very freaky!

Glad you are coming again WMBA... hope you make it OmToast

Thanks Rich! See you there.

By the way.. are you still a Mike Patton fan? If so, let me know which bands of his you like (one is pretty obvious). I have tons of unreleased and rare music by him that you might be interested in (if you don't already have it).

Cheers!

Dammit, I'm supposed to be going to New York that weekend. I haven't been to a MINI event in like 2 years, and this one sounds great! I'm going to see if my friend's schedule is flexible.

Don't forget to register! Only 7 days left to get your registration forms in!

This weekend we completed our second prerun, it was a blast! We will be having another before the main event and will then have good estimate for the length of the event.

Anyone who can attend should. It is going to be a great event. Last year was good, but this will be way better.

I've seen where we're going, and the drive in itself will be good, plus, we get to have the RI paranormal guy there and get to stop at the haunted sites.

It is going to be great!

I am printing out a registration form RIGHT NOW. I will put it in the mail tomorrow, which means that it won't get to you by Monday. Can I still come? It will be me and one other person.

(please?)

PS -- I would also be perfectly happy to drive up and leave my registration in your mailbox / hands tomorrow...

Important Update!

There have been a few changes in the event. Unfortunatley we will not be able to start or end at the Stagecoach Tavern. They are in the process of changing management and will not be open for business.

So we will be starting at a Dunkin Donuts around the corner and ending at Chester's Restaurant who will be providing us with food and beverage. I have updated the first post with all of the new information but here it is:

Check-in: 5:30-6:15
Departure: 6:30
Meeting at: Dunkin' Donuts at 1018 Putnam Pike, Chepachet, RI 02814
Ending at: Chester's Restaurant at 102 Putnam Pike Chepachet, RI 02814

Directions:
From 295 North or South
Merge onto US-44 W / PUTNAM PIKE via EXIT 7B toward GREENVILLE
Dunkin Donuts will be on your LEFT.

From 146 North
Take the RT-146A ramp toward N. SMITHFIELD R.I.
Take the RT-146A S ramp toward N. SMITHFIELD R. I
Turn LEFT onto QUAKER HWY / MA-146A. Continue to follow MA-146A.
Turn RIGHT onto RI-102 / VICTORY HWY. Continue to follow RI-102.
Turn SLIGHT LEFT onto US-44 / PUTNAM PIKE.
Dunkin Donuts will be on your RIGHT.

If you have a question about the directions please PM me, email me, or call me at 401-474-8152.
