Folks...the weather SEEMS to be stabilizing. I want to get a rally going. I've been toying with the idea of a pork run...The NYC Pork Run of 2011 to be exact. I was thinking Saturday March 5th beginning at 8:30 AM. The run will consist of a drive up the West Side and Hudson Parkway (NY 9A)...back down and through the city...ending at Blue Smoke for some delicious BBQ. Let me know who's in. I am very flexible on the date...and I want a lot of you to attend.

I will provide more details and a map in the future.

Just an observation but where were all you guys planning on parking once we get to Murray hill?... I feel like there would be a lot more spots available near Dinosaur BBQ up on 125th and Riverside drive. Always more parking towards the periphery. Just a thought.

 

Weekend parking is awesome in my 'hood (in The Hill). There are a lot of spots on the periphery. A lot more than Dinosaur BBQ.

Dinosaur BBQ sounds awesome, actually. If there's a large showing I seriously doubt there would be abundant parking for all of us downtown. We could park in packs uptown.

 

Blue Smoke is equally awesome. Actually I think it's better than Dinosaur BBQ. LOL. Plus, Dinosaur BBQ has been done before.

Parking on a saturday in Murray Hill should be fine. We won't be able to park in packs, but we're an NYC club...so our members understand what they're dealing with
