YOUR MISSION IF YOU CHOOSE TO ACCEPT IT: Motor through the dark backroads of Westchester County. Creepy and fun!

When? Saturday, December 20th 2004

Where? Meet at the Dunkin Donuts parking lot on Downing Drive in Yorktown. It is a plaza. The meet time will be at 7PM. We will motor through some backroads in Yorktown then go hit those twisties near Mt Kisco, make a stop at Starbucks in Mt Kisco. then go full circle back to Yorktown for some more twisty roads on Underhill Ave. The loop is short so we will probably do a couple laps.

Please note, this is a NIGHT run so safety is of the upmost importance. Leave plenty of room for the car in front of you when you take the twisties and only the person in the lead will have thier brights on. Rally lights should be off (especially Upticks tanning machine) and foglights should be on for added light. I am gunna limit this meet to a max of ten cars for safety reasons. This is not a highly organized meet like RDR was, just go out and motor and have some fun in the darkness on a Saturday. The first ten cars to respond are in although I am not projecting a huge list of responses, just the ones of us who are crazy enough to attempt this. It is also important to have radios for the meet as communication is very important in the dark. If you have extras bring them. We will also pass the DEP Police station. I would have liked to have avoided this, but the station happens to be on one of the sickest twisted roads I have seen. I know Paul Mullet on MINI2 held a meet like this and it was good fun.

I am gunna leave it the 20th since this really doesnt effect most people going to the RI event. My schedule gets pretty hectic after this weekend so I wanna get it in now.

Night runs aren't THAT dangerous...me and ants drive all the time at night. Hell, I did the Litchfield route the night before the meet at like 1:30...and I wasn't going slow...

It's a Moon Dance. We need the grinding brakes to throw sparks and light the nite to find our way.

Hiya Ant.

I've got to stay in the PIT for that run. I'm a retail guy and will be at the Gateway store 8:00- 'till 10:00 that nite. It really is the pits.

We'll get it done. Impromptu maybe when GMINI has his ride back.

Looks like Uptick is the DOG FATHER. You must be The Prince of Darkness.

Motor on Knights of the Nite.

Peace and Darkness to all.

Oh. THAT's why your MINI was in the body shop for so long. You got the insurance to cover that custom work too? Tricky!

Saturday is still looking good. Kool are you def in? John check your PM.

Those needing directions from Taconic North....

Take Taconic North to Underhill Ave exit.
Make right at bottom of exit.
Continue down Underhill Ave about a half mile till your first light. Make a left.
Go through one light and then make your first right.
Dunkin Donuts plaza on your left.

OOh Just the talk of Dunkin Donuts makes me drool. It's not the donuts but the thought of those MINIs out in the lot and you boys motoring into the night. Damn I gotta get a real job and blow this retail world.

Sweet rememberance of what follows as you gather and exit stage left into the darkness.

Enjoy the night and regards to all.

Just thought of this. A new Tradition is born. In honor of the I assume to be absent GMINI and Maxamini, would you please buy a creme filled donut. The biggest and most laden with filling. Place it out on the tarmac and each of the motorers will then drive over it and spin out on it and tear it to smithereeens.

Imbed great chunks deep into the treads and then smear it through the twists. Do it for your absent brothers in arms.

Please!
