since the closing of ocean stste mini web site its been hard for ri mini owners to gtg or chat, post etc...

WOOT! im an RIer i live down in Narragansett right by the beach. Im currently waiting to take delivery of my brandy new '09 MY/B MCS.

not in RI...but just over the line in eastern CT. are u on NEMINI.org?
there is a gtg at hanks dairy bar in plainfiled,ct on oct 7th. here is the info on the meet up:

otherwise a bunch of us in eastern ct try hard to get together since we are far from some of the big meets. try to look often in the CT section of nemini. there is also some folks over at massmotoringclub.com from eastern ct. we just had a great run in eastern ct a few weeks ago.
anyone is welcome to join us whenever we gtg.
also...is the make a wish run happening this yr? HHFD633- I think I was in front of you last yr...I saw it posted as the 7th of dec, but haven't seen it anywhere else besides the make a wish site.
hope to see some RI cars on the 7th!!

 

cant make it on the 7th but i hope to make some other events. I havent heard anythin g about the make a wish event but i am sure it will happen, spread the word we need more cars to join in that event.

 

Just saw Steve (who puts on mini's make a wish) at Hanks Dairy bar meet last night confirmed date of December 7th.
Also, we are meeting up this sunday the 12th at Buttonwoods Farm in Griswold, CT if you can make it. Meeting @ Noon with a drive afterwards. (Going to put up a separate post.)

sorry for the short notice...we all kind of decided last night at hanks meet to do something on sunday. last time we did buttonwoods we had 11 cars or so.
I am so close to RI...I would also like to see the site back up.
Hope to meet up at some point w/ya. Do u know if inskip is having motor-tober like last yr? Seems like they had a great turnout...and I bought my car that day!!

 

last year was a great turn out. i hope they do it again. i am around alwya look for the chile red with firefighter plates thats me

looks good so far. have you checked out www.massmotoringclub.com its where most people form the mass, ri, ct area hang out. We have been trying to get the RI site back up again with no luck as of yet.

just sold my M3 today so i am without a car until the MINI gets in! it cant get here soon enough!

Steve was in the other day...he said the Make-A-Wish run is December 7th. I'm told it's going to end here at Inskip MINI.
