Where? – 339 West Cedar St., near Norwalk Community College

Why? – Summer MINI Celebration

What? – Cookout and Bratwurst share, MINI Car Show, RC car races, Lawnkhana, Scavanger Hunt, trophies and goodie bags, dash plaques, prizes! MAJOR FUN for all!

Cost? - $10-20 to cover dash plaques, beverages, prizes. Bring your own Bratwurst.

Schedule – (tentative)

10-12, Arrival, registration, socializing
12-1, Cook your own Bratwursts on grill, share a meal
1-2, Lawnkhana on grassy back yard
2-4, MINI Car Show, RC races
4-6, Scavanger Hunt in local area
6-7, More brat cooking and eating
7-8, Trophy Presentation

There are so many trophies and sponsor door prizes, plus bratwurst, soda, lots of mini activities - car show, rc races, scavenger hunt, lawnkhana, and more..........come one, come all! - no one will go away hungry or depressed, and most will go away with some prize!

 

I just got my MCS today! Its a great car. I am in NE CT Stafford. I have to work so I wont be able to make it :(

I have a question, well sort of an idea. Can we do something in October when the leaves are out? Like a cruise through the litchfield hills, all us MINIS driving down the road Let me know if that seems like a good Idea.

Awesom, I used to live in New Milford I miss it over there alot. I loved driving around in Northwestern CT. Do you know the title of the treat over there I searched and didnt seem to find anything.

Plenty of sponsors and door prizes abound!

We're heading down to FC Mini on Friday to pick up Carlos' new Mini. We're dropping off the check & form then.

How many attendees are on the list?

What's involved in participating in the car show?

• Do owners need to be present the whole time?
• Does the car need to have special mods?
• etc...

Appreciate you putting this together. I'm really looking forward to being there.

Which car are you gonna bring ?

Let's go - spread the word! more than a week to go!!!!!! I want to get at least 85 cars and 100+ people!

 

47 MINIs & 72 people... I'm dropping my registration and check at mfc tonight...

 

Update : 52 cars and 83 people now pre-registered.

TV and print press coverage likely to be there..........race car driver giving test drives in a hot classic Mini......


other exotic cars likely to be there, also, this will be a major blow-out MINI party!

 

We actually had 77 MINIs and classics there, with over 100 people.

We had live radio there, newspaper reporters, and TV coverage! Participants had a ball!
