I was driving to work this morning on I495S at around 7:50 on the way to I93 and had moved into the left lane to creep past the middle lane bottleneck when the left lane turned into a train as well. Surprisingly the locomotive turned out to be a white MCS Cabrio. My fury was immediately compounded by the fact that a MINI would be holding up traffic.

It is illegal to cruise in the left lane in MA.

 

Yeah. Unfortunately, nowhere in the MINI-buying process did I come across screening for either IQ or social consciousness. Which may explain my presence here. In the Prindle catalog is a wireless LED sign device that mounts on the license plate and streams messages you can program in. I've been thinking about getting it so I can say things like: "Thanks for using your turn signals, jackass!" or "Hey, we don't all drive like that."

 

Funny yet probably illegal in MA. "Support your local police" would be a good sentence to display when you get pulled for having it.

I would like a pulsing arrow pointing toward the right lane(s) for the front and "Danger. Microwaves. Keep back 500 feet." for the back.

 

If I had a dollar for every time I passed a MINI driver around here obliviously yapping on their cell phone....

Remember, it IS legal in MA to pass on the right.
