Ive looked into this and haven't seen much on it. Ive seen you can jail break your iphone and downlaod a few apps to get your iphone to send video and audio out and display it on your iphone which is awesome thats one cool mod/feature you can do.

The big question i was wondering is i know in driving excitement they allow you to tap into the ecu and display some real time data. I was wondering if there would be any way to display a digital gauge for your turbo's boost just like they do for hp/tq and coolant temp readings and such. Any ideas on this? Thanks!

I would like to know the answer for the boost reading as well. I just ordered my clubman S with MINI connected

OP - did you mean you can jailbreak your iphone and play video from your iphone to display on the MINI connected screen? If so, that would be awesome!

 

Yea, on jailbroken iPhone you can download display out app and see video even when driving. Mine has quit working. I'm guessing the new mini app update stopped it. Now it goes straight the iPod screen and starts playing music from iPhone library. :( As far as the boost meter goes, Appearantly driving excitement programmers have not picked up on the fact we want a boost gauge.

In MINI Connected there is an option for contacting Support.
You can request that it be added there.
I just did so myself.
Maybe if more people ask, there will do it.
They have responded back to me on other issues that I have reported there, so I know they do look at it.
