Adding Sat radio . . .

My 2011 CM4S did not come with the factory Sirius radio setup. I really didn't find the need to pay for it, but may want to in the future. Has anyone here added an XM or Sirius setup to the base audio system? Did you find a factory antenna wire in the car to tap into?

I ruined my factory antenna with a loose load and had to replace it. They sell two that I know of, mine has Sat from the factory The antenna I replaced had three wires. One is FM/AM/Sat, I think, one is to add boost for your phone, I think, and one is for GPS, I think. The other one, which I accidentally ordered first only has one wire. Hope that helps.

Unsure if the CM is anything like the R56, but the R56 has a tap under the passenger side seat that leads direct to the antennae. Check this thread for the R56 install. Was easy enough to install, if the R60 happens to have the same available.
