I don't think it'll work in an R56. Looks like a nice unit. So you plug usb into the back and either dock or headphone into iPod? I assume you can hide the iPod in the glovebox right?
It will require an adapter though. It can't be done all at once. unless you have the adapter at the time of install. Best Buy doesn't carry them in stoc so it'll have to be ordered through them. It's about $70 to $80.
IMHO it looks best in red at night during it almost has pink/purple look to the buttons. Because the buttons have a blue shade to tem and with the red light it shows during the day in sunlight, but once the sun goes down the red looks real good. The Video screen on it is real clear. there is three displays you can have on the screen, 1) is having Album art with song detail, artist and album detail 2) is just Album Art 3) cool looking clock
Wow, that's the best-looking aftermarket solution yet, at least from what i've seen. I already have the Dension iPod kit and the MFSW BT interface for EVO Handsfree, so I'm all configured, but this is nice to know about for the future...

Ok, looks pretty good.. but, can you put in a red background for the display?!
Other things I want to know:
Does it have a cross over for the sub out? Is the sub out just full rang?
What are the frequencies for the bass & treble (and are they shelving?)
