Since you will only be running 2-300 watts with those subs according to the Kenwood specs I wouldn't worry about the alternator at all. I doubt you'll pull more than 15-20 amp peak, so most of the time you'll probably be pulling in the 5-10 amp range, which a stock alternator can handle fine.

The stock alternator can handle that system without any problems. As Greg detailed above, the peak and average current draws are not taxing on the system.

For the '02-'06 cars the MC alternator (Valeo) is rated at 120 amps, the MCS alternator (Denso) is rated 105. The lower rating is due to smaller physical size needed for the MCS alternator to be able to cram it in such a small space.

Great lol, i was hoping that i could run two alternators in my MC '05. I have a Clarion DPX11551 running @ 1550watts rms. I was going to buy One more, same amp to run my second sub. How much amps are my subs using if the one i have is 1550watts rms?

I have 2200 total watts running in my system but have a cap and I have no problems with anything like lights dimmer whatsoever.

Well, if I get the other amp, it will be running at 3100watts rms total. Not sure if that's safe lol.
