HK Stereo Display

HI Guys/Girls,

I'm sure this has probably been discussed but whatever.

I was wondering if you could please help me out by answering a question.

I have the H/K system in me MINI and I thought that when you play an MP3 that the song title and artist would show up since its reading MP3?

and is there anything else i should know about the HK with regards to its settings?

THANKS

Nope, ID3 tags are not displayed on the head unit.

Yes... most importantly, don't turn the bass up past the mid-point. "Less is more"... if you turn the bass up, the H/K will limit the maximum volume anyway. As a "reference point", I recommend simply putting the settings to:
  • Bass, treble, balance & fade - all dead center
  • Acoustic mode - MINI h/k
  • Driver mode - OFF
Start there - it seems to be the most "balanced" setting. Then experiment from there if you still aren't happy with that.
