Adding powered sub to HK?

I read thru the sticky post about adding to the OEM HK system but couldn't quite find what I'm looking for. I'd like to add a Bazooka powered sub to my existing HK system, leaving all of the HK components in place. Does anyone know if that's possible? I'll be taking it to a car audio installer but know that his preference is to rip out the HK head unit and replace with something else (which I don't want to do) so I want to make sure it is possible before I spar with him on this subject.

I just did the infinity basslink. If im not mistaken I think they make a harness that plugs right into your hk amp for it. could be wrong

I did it.
Go here for my full write up.

No splicing of wires either!

Thanks for the help! The detailed write-up with pics ought to really help the installer, too. Now I sit and wait for the sub to ship...
