That is a good question- looks like a Dennison subsidiary for the US, but the web sites don't mention the difference between the Ice-Link Plus and the DICE products.

I am just wondering- could DICE be Dennison ICE-Link?

DICE is NOT Denison-Ice
I spoke with the guys over @ Denison, today. Dice is a DIIFERENT product than IceLink. It uses a totally new algorithm, chip and is manufactured here in the USA. It uses a different UI then IceLink. As per Denison it is totally integrated, so you can use both Ipod and Dice interface at the same time, also it provides ID3 tags on the radio. And it is cheaper than IceLink.
But as we say it in Hungary the ultimate test of the cake is when you eating it.:impatient

P.S. I ordered one. Since it uses the same cable that IceLink has for connecting to the trunk at least I do not have to do the wiring install again.

Does it have to be wired to the trunk? I hate running extra wiring through the car. Can it just be connected to the back of the HU?

One difference I see, that interests me a lot, is the ability to connect a second device via the built-in aux input. Now I won't need to buy a separate aux input for my plug and play satellite receiver.

there's something really fishy going on here.

dension sells the dicelink.

the dicelink site uses the same HTML layout as dension and visually looks very similar.

between that and the neo iON that apparently is just a rebranded dension it's a very confusing and weird marketplace.

Has anyone got the new DICE unit yet?
I'll called and was put on a order list. They told me it'll be 2-3 weeks before they get more stock

Peepers, I'm in the same boat. I keep calling every week for a replacement unit for my ice-link. Called on Tuesday (4/25) and Zoltan told me it would be another week because another firmware update was needed. It's been 6 weeks now...

Cheers!

A couple questions about the DICE unit (if anybody knows):

1. will it display song text on the stock HU?
2. will it work if I already have an aux input installed?
3. Do I have to route wires to the back of the car or can i just plug it into the back of the HU?
