I am having this problem myself on my new 04 MCS. I haven't tried messing with the grill yet. Anyone ever solve this problem? It only happens on certain songs and it is always in the same place. It almost sounds distorted, but the volume isn't up very loud. It sounds like the cone is damaged or something is touching it. This only appears to be on the passenger side. Any advice? It is driving me nuts!

I forgot to mention that my stock single CD is also skipping a fair amount. I have only played commercially bought CDs on it so far. I don't know if the bumps are causing it or if it is extra sensitive to dirt etc. or what. Any insight on that would also be useful. Thanks!

My right front passenger speaker is also buzzing....off and on. How odd that this is the same speaker as the rest of you. Will try the adjustment to ring, but wondering if there is something in the passenger door that poses the problem and not with other speakers in car. I also think it has to do with a specific song/bass setting, but the bottom line is it shouldn't be doing this. I have an '03, problem wasn't there until recently.
