Static in FM - rev related?
It seem i have developed static in all frequencies of FM. There seems to be an increase in the loudness when i'm at 3-4k and the static is directly rev related ie: the "buzz" increases in frequency with higher revs (almost like in AM when unfiltered).
sometimes it's not too loud and others it's just plain distracting and i have to put a CD in.
any suggestions or ideas would be welcomed. Are there antenna grounds and if so, WHERE?
my dealer is 3 hours away so i'd rather take care of this myself if possible.
FWIW--it's an 04 and i have the HK upgrade.

i have no other ignition related issues.
i installed the auto-up over a year ago and this problem is within the past 2 months. also, it's only with FM. i assume there is a ground for the antenna or antenna amp but i don't know where.
