Icelink+

Does it, or does it not display song names on the HK HU (05)?

Over on MINI2, Lee (R&D or something at Dension) said to look for an update to do that in around 4 weeks...but he posted that a while ago, so I'm not sure.

The latest news is that it does not. It can send info up to the Nav display, however the text obstructs the display rendering it useless for navigation.

Go check the last few pages of the thread over on MINI2. I'd give you the link to the thread myself, but I don't have the time to hunt for it. You'll probably find in in the first two pages of the Interior and ICE forums there.

The general consensus that I saw though was that those who had gotten it to work with the Nav hated it...

The nav thing is useless. It is a big grey box that takes up the entire display, and shows you artist and song. Then you have no nav because it stays like that on the entire screen and doesn't go away.

You can't go by the Motoring File thing...because Dension said at the beginning that text display would work in December on *ALL* HUs.
