Champ2 Unit : Trying to virginize / update FSC : work in progress
Hello,
Since a few months, I'm trying to work on champ2 units to be able to virginize them and update fsc files on these units.
I had 2 units, which are very similar : One is from France and has neither bluetooth (French models allways have bluetooth with combox) nor DAB and the other one comes from an english car which has these features.
On PCB, there is a little 24C128 chip on which I can read some informations with a CH341 eeprom programming module. The SD cards seems to have no partitions even when I read them under Linux.
Today, I have received another unit. This one seems similar to the one from the english car : bluetooth, DAB... But in facts, the PCB is very different. I can't read the eeprom on it because a a capacitor prevents me from putting on my reading clip. The most surprising thing is the SD card which is perfectly accessible: I can see the partitions and files on it.
If someone has some information about these differences, it could help me.
