I’ll searched and searched and can not find the fix. My auto dim rear mirror leaked out all the green juice. I found one at the junk yard but after install my key fob will not lock or unload the doors. I connect my old one back and goes back to working. So do I need to take apart the mirror and swap out control board or is there a easier way? Thanks for the help! 05 r53 160,000 both mirrors do have the home link.

 

I think you need to 'pair' the remote fob to the mirror receiver. This is sometimes needed after a fob battery change on the 2-button fobs. Details should be in the Owners Manual.
