Sat Nav - Route Magnet??

Can anybody explain what this new function is for on the Mini Sat Nav?

I have searched the net and cant really find anything

Any help would be great

Gosh, I remember playing with that... is that the feature that you can press when you are at a site and add it to the addressbook??
