To clarify, the new UI is 100% stable provided you have the right hardware. It’s not usable for those of you with native ID4 headunits.
Just a heads-up.
I installed the new Interface (i-lever 21_03) on a id4 Unit and the unit starts to reboot every 3-4 minutes.
Not even using the maps.
So a word of advice: Never upgrade an MINI id4 unit to new interface.
Mini NBTevo id4 works great with lover version and with CarPlay Split Screen
Your car unfortunatelly does't have ATM Module so a CarPlay provisioning methond will not work. You need to buy the OEM FSC Code to activate CarPLay and it's a hell of expensive.Somewhere around 350 euros.
This is the only method to activate CarPlay on your current unit!

It seems I need software version 002.146.002 and I can then enable it via BimmerCode. Not sure why MINI can't just make version 002.146.002 available for download. Can you help with that?

A 2019 Countryman S would have an entrynav2 headunit. If you send me your vin, I can tell you what version of the firmware is installed on your car, which would dictate what steps are needed to enable Fullscreen CarPlay. If the firmware is new enough, you can do this with Bimmercode.
