Tweeters in upper door locations

My Google-Fu is failing and I can't seem to find any kind of 3.5" tweeter adapters for use in the upper door speaker location, but I've seen them mentioned in passing here.

Can someone point me in the right direction, or should I not bother and just mount them somewhere on the dash in the pods that come with them?

I took my Alpine units completely out of the included pods. then took the stock tweeters out of the little plastic bracket that holds them and secured the Alpine unit s in their place.

Stock tweeters? Are we talking about the upper speaker in the door, or the HK unit tweeters in the A-pillar?
I don't have the HK 'upgrade'.
