I just installed the XM Direct into my '04 MC. It works great, and was very easy to self-install. However, the artist and title seem to be cut off, as most of them are too big for the display. Wouldn't it make sense for the display to simply scroll them? It doesn't. I held the INF button and it said "Scroll On". However, this made absolutely no difference. Is it something I'm doing wrong, or is this a known issue? Thanks.

 

It's a feature of the BMW/MNI head-unit.

No scroll, even with scroll-on

Still, small price to pay for an integrated solution.

Glad that the person who outbid me on EBAY is a real MINI owner, and gave the XM a good home

Anyway the lack of scrolling is an XM problem and not the stereo. XM has a 16 character limit. I beleive Serous sp??? is the same.
