Has anyone here had this experience with Harmon Kardon system:

When I start the car in the morning and turn on the radio or play a CD, the sound (volume) comes in, then the volume drops, then the sound comes in again, then volume drops again. This cycle repeats for several minutes until the car is "warmed" up and running then I can adjust the volume to the usual ear-splitting volume and so forth. Seems to happen on colder mornings.

Is this related to the volume/speed adjustment (which I can't seem to find in the settings menu) or is the HK Head Unit f'ed up? It works great afterwards (except for a buzzing sound on the passenger side from the woofer at certain frequencies).

I do know, like many BMWs that if you leave it on LOUD, the night before... it will reset to moderate level when you start the car again..
