No Signal on my stereo?

Purchased a used 14 MCS a few months ago. Getting used to all the little things about the F56 (previously owned a 05 MCS)
Anyhow, since I have had the car I randomly see my stereo shut off on its own and then get a "No Signal" pop up on the screen. I have told the dealer, but being that they cannot mimic the issue, they can't see it to get to the bottom of it.
Any ideas?

I have begun to take a pic on my cell phone to mark the dates/times that it occurs to show the dealer, but I have no idea what the issue is?

Thanks

I remember someone having an issue with the satellite radio, some module and/or antennae was loose or unplugged.

What's your system? Do you have the satellite preparation?

Are you missing your antennae?

No satellite, have my antenna.
I have been taking pics every time it happens. Hoping that the dealer knows what is causing the issue?
I just can't think of anything that would cause this? Especially that it is at random times.

Can you be more specific.
Does this occur in only one module of the "stereo"?
Those are - HD playback, Radio AM, Radio FM, Bluetooth streaming, USB playback or USB device playback. If you can isolate the problem I'm sure there is a solution.

I had a similar problem where my radio would reset every 2 minutes and would sometimes say, "No signal". Some days it didn't do it, some days, like clockwork, every 2 minutes. I took it to the dealer while it was doing it and showed them and they checked it in and did a software update, which seems to have fixed it. It has happened a couple times since, but much less frequent - I've noticed it's more likely to happen when I try and connect my Galaxy S7 to it for music.

Check your VIN http://bimmer.work, see if you have the satellite prep, I think all US MINIs do.

I had the same issue, my dealer replaced the headunit. the headunit is faulty and not putting out enough voltage to the display, hence the no signal message. the display and headunit are two separate parts. This no signal message has nothing to do with radio or sat radio functions.

AlphaQuad - Do you have any more details on this that I can take to the dealership? This has only happened once to me, but I've had bluetooth issues ever since I got the car. The dealership says it's my phone, but I've always suspected there was a problem with the headunit.
