Has anyone done this yet? I did a search but could not find any threads about it. I like the idea that ninjamini came up with, and since my dealer screwed up my order and my new '05 came with H-K system inside, I am leery to try to add it.

Anyone have some advice?

I will either Put a Sirius Clarion Plug and play in my car or replace the radio and get an alpine with the Sirius Box. My contacts say that the Sirius Alpine tuner box is avaliable in early Sept. But I still might do the Clarion Plug n play. It is easier to use and better display.

I will get the aux input and put the Clarion pnp in there to start and then replace the radio and speakers for ny birthday (Jan). I am cash poor buying both a house and car this month.

I choose the clarion due to size issues. I run the Audiovox pnp in my accord.

by the way you can add a sirius Mini tuner to the 05s with any radio. in fact I herd a rumor that the 05 mini has the sirius antenna as standard. I am still trying to get conformation on this.

I asked when I picked up the car yesterday, and the tech and the parts guy both say it isn't, or they didn't recall that being the case on the '05's. I do know that my salesperson told me that they have been told that they cannot put SIRIUS on any '05 right now. Something about a software problem I think...

Lets see what we can find out!

I asked the 05 antenna question when I ordered my 05 last week. He said the antenna would be compatable with AM/FM/NAV only. You will have to use a different antenna for Sat radio.
